2018 — the start
RS Computers began in 2018 in Kosovo, providing high-quality office PCs, gaming systems, servers, and networking equipment to businesses and consumers. We earned our reputation the slow way: showing up, knowing the gear, and being honest about the right call versus what would just sell more boxes.
2024 — the cloud
In 2024 we opened our own data center in Prishtina and rolled out cloud infrastructure: KVM-based VPS, Ceph storage, OpenStack tooling, and the operational discipline to run it 24/7.
2025 — Macedonia
We expanded our footprint into Macedonia, with a presence in Skopje. Same team, same SLA, two regions — so customers can pick the location closest to their users, or run in both for redundancy.
What we run
- VPS hosting — KVM virtual servers from €3 to €50 a month, dedicated IPv4, NVMe storage.
- Cloud infrastructure — OpenStack-powered private cloud, Ceph storage, SDN networking.
- Hardware — office PCs, gaming systems, servers, and networking equipment.
- Professional services — Kubernetes (OKD), OpenStack, migrations, audits.
Why two regions
Local hosting matters: in-country data residency, lower RTT, real support in the customer's timezone. Macedonia gives us a second failure domain a few hundred kilometres from Kosovo — close enough for fast replication, far enough for real geographic redundancy.
