Prishtina is sold out at the moment. The same plans and prices are available in Amsterdam and Dublin. Follow us on Telegram to hear when Kosovo capacity is back.
Every plan: NVMe storage, a dedicated IPv4 address plus IPv6, free weekly backups and full root access. Windows Server is available on VPS Mini and all VDS plans.
Dublin keeps personal data inside the EU under the GDPR, while EU and UK adequacy decisions let it move to and from Britain without extra transfer paperwork.
Measured averages from Dublin: roughly 11 ms to London, 15 ms to Paris and 19 ms to Manchester. Close enough that UK visitors will not notice the Irish Sea.
Dublin, Amsterdam and Prishtina sell identical plans at identical prices, so a second server for backups or failover is one more order, not a new provider.
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and more on every plan, and Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 on VPS Mini and every VDS plan.
RS Computers LLC is a hosting company founded in Kosovo in 2018. We run our own data centre in Prishtina plus server locations in Amsterdam and Dublin, and Dublin sells the same six plans at the same prices as the other two. Select Ireland in the location switch above and every plan card shows the Dublin version.
Each Dublin server comes with:
Linux images include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux, among others. Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 run on VPS Mini and on every VDS plan; VPS Nano and VPS Micro are Linux only. The side-by-side comparison of all locations is on the VPS and VDS plans page.
Distance sets the floor. Light in optical fibre needs roughly 5 microseconds per kilometre, as Lightwave explains, so every 100 km of cable adds about 1 ms to a round trip. Routing, peering and busy links add the rest.
Measured numbers beat maps. WonderNetwork pings between its test servers in cities around the world every hour and publishes the results. These are its averages from Dublin and from Amsterdam as published on 6 October 2026, rounded to whole milliseconds:
| Destination | From Dublin | From Amsterdam |
|---|---|---|
| London | 11 ms | 10 ms |
| Manchester | 19 ms | 18 ms |
| Paris | 15 ms | 18 ms |
| Frankfurt | 26 ms | 11 ms |
| Warsaw | 44 ms | 23 ms |
| Boston | 77 ms | 77 ms |
| New York | 84 ms | 76 ms |
Sources: WonderNetwork pings from Dublin and from Amsterdam. These run between WonderNetwork's own servers, not ours, so read them as a picture of the region rather than a promise about your route.
Three things stand out. London is about 11 ms from Dublin and 10 ms from Amsterdam, close to a tie for UK visitors; over two weeks of hourly tests the Dublin to London pair never dropped below 10.3 ms. Mainland Europe is clearly nearer to Amsterdam, with Frankfurt and Warsaw at roughly half the delay. And North America favours Dublin less than the globe suggests: New York averaged 84 ms from Dublin and 76 ms from Amsterdam over the same period, because cable routes decide the result, not the map.
Where Dublin wins outright is Ireland itself. Cork, Galway and Limerick are a few hundred kilometres of fibre from the capital at most, worth a few milliseconds by the rule above, while Amsterdam sits beyond the Irish Sea and Great Britain. Dublin is also home to a lot of cloud infrastructure: data centres used 23% of Ireland's metered electricity in 2025, according to the Central Statistics Office, and AWS runs its Europe (Ireland) region, eu-west-1, in the country. An app on a Dublin VPS that calls APIs or storage in that region keeps those calls short.
Once your server is live, run ping and traceroute (tracert on Windows) against it from where your users actually are. That number counts more than any table.
Ireland is an EU member state, so personal data on a Dublin server is processed in a country where the GDPR applies directly. The national regulator is the Data Protection Commission, which also acts as the EU lead supervisory authority for the many large technology companies that keep their European headquarters in Ireland, as the DPC itself notes.
The UK angle matters if your customers or your company are British. The European Commission renewed its adequacy decisions for the UK on 19 December 2025, and they now run until 27 December 2031, as the ICO confirms. In the other direction, the ICO lists every EEA country, Ireland included, as having full adequacy under UK GDPR. In practice a UK business can keep customer data on a Dublin VPS, inside the EU, and move it between the two countries without the extra contracts a transfer to a non-adequate country would need.
Server location is one part of compliance, not all of it. You still decide who can log in, what you encrypt and where your own copies end up. If your compliance review has questions for us as the hosting provider, send them by email or Telegram before you order. And whichever Ireland VPS you compare, check that the server itself is in Ireland and not in London or elsewhere, because that one detail decides whether the data sits inside the EU.
All three locations sell identical plans, so choose by where your users are and which rules your data falls under.
You do not have to pick only one. A production server in Dublin with a backup target in Amsterdam or Prishtina keeps a copy of your data in a second country, on a second network, at the same plan prices.
Shoppers feel every slow page, and a server a few milliseconds from Dublin, Cork or Galway takes distance out of the equation. Our guide to running WooCommerce or PrestaShop on a VPS covers the stack, caching and a launch checklist.
Moving a small team off Google Drive or Dropbox is easier to justify when the new home is an EU country you can name. The Nextcloud on a VPS guide walks through a weekend migration, sizing and backups.
Outbound port 25 is blocked on new servers to keep spam off the network; ask on Telegram and we open it. Set reverse DNS for your IPv4 address in the client area panel, or ask us on Telegram if the panel does not take it. Then follow the self-hosted mail server guide for mailcow, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
The free weekly backups restore the whole server. A separate, append-only copy of your files in another city protects you from your own mistakes and from ransomware as well. The restic and Borg backup guide shows how to set one up, for example with Dublin backing up to Amsterdam.

Yes. WonderNetwork's published averages put Dublin about 11 ms from London and 19 ms from Manchester, which visitors will not notice. Your data also stays in the EU: the European Commission's UK adequacy decisions run until 27 December 2031, and the ICO treats Ireland as adequate under UK GDPR, so data can move between the two without extra transfer contracts.
Ireland is an EU member state, so the GDPR applies to personal data processed on a server in Dublin, and the national regulator is the Data Protection Commission. Location covers only part of compliance, though. You still control who can log in, what is encrypted and where your own backups go. If your review needs answers from RS Computers as the hosting provider, ask by email or Telegram before ordering.
It depends on where your users are. In WonderNetwork's published averages:
Pick Dublin for Ireland and EU data close to the UK, and Amsterdam for mainland Europe.
Yes. Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 are available in Dublin on VPS Mini, VDS Small, VDS Medium and VDS Large. You choose Windows at the configure step when ordering and connect over Remote Desktop with full administrator access. VPS Nano and VPS Micro are Linux only, with Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and other distributions to choose from. You can reinstall a different operating system later from the client area.
Yes, once port 25 is open. Outbound port 25 is blocked on new servers to stop spam; message us on Telegram and we open it. Set the reverse DNS (PTR) record for your IPv4 address in the client area panel, or ask on Telegram if that does not work. Our mail server guide covers SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
Deployment is automatic after payment and usually finishes within minutes. You then get root access on Linux or administrator access on Windows Server, plus a self-service panel to reboot, reinstall the operating system or open the console. Free weekly backups start without any setup, and you restore them from the client area.
