Dedicated servers in Skopje with free BGP and BYOIP
Bare metal in Skopje, ready in 24 to 48 hours. AMD EPYC, enterprise NVMe, and free BGP with your own IPs on AS213900. No setup fee, no contract.
A dedicated server is one physical machine that nobody else uses: no hypervisor under your operating system and no neighbour on your cores. RS Computers LLC, a network and hosting company from Prishtina, Kosovo, operates AS213900 and rents dedicated servers from its PoP at the neoDC data centre in Skopje, North Macedonia, the same site that carries our IP transit in Skopje. The servers and their order buttons are above; this page explains the rest.
What our dedicated servers are good for
- Virtualisation hosts with Proxmox VE or plain KVM. Many cores and ECC memory hold a few dozen small guests or a handful of large ones, and ECC matters when one bad bit can take every guest down with it.
- Large databases. PostgreSQL or MySQL with the working set in RAM and local NVMe underneath, not network storage.
- CI runners for GitLab, GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Parallel jobs spread over all the cores, and a flat monthly bill is easier to plan than per-minute runner pricing.
- Game and streaming nodes that need to sit close to players and viewers in the Balkans.
- BGP edge and anycast nodes. Run BIRD or FRRouting, announce your prefixes from Skopje, and add sites later.
BGP and BYOIP, explained for a first timer
BGP is the protocol networks use to tell each other which IP addresses they can reach. BYOIP (bring your own IP) means traffic for addresses you hold, not ours, is routed to your server. On a dedicated server from RS Computers both are free. Many hosting companies keep BGP for colocation customers, only announce customer prefixes from their own ASN, or charge a one-off fee to import a prefix. There are two ways to do it with us.
Option 1: AS213900 announces your prefix
You do not need an ASN. You need a prefix of at least a /24 in IPv4 or a /48 in IPv6, because most networks filter anything smaller. Create a route or route6 object in an IRR such as the RIPE Database with AS213900 as origin, and a ROA that authorises AS213900 to originate the prefix. We check both, announce the prefix from Skopje and route it to your server.
Option 2: your own ASN over a BGP session
If you have a public ASN, from the RIPE NCC as a member or through a sponsoring LIR, we set up a BGP session between your server and our router. Your server announces your prefixes with your ASN as origin, and we accept only what your IRR objects and ROAs allow. Announcing customers' prefixes as well? Then we also need an AS-SET that lists them. The RIPE NCC explains ROAs and route origin validation on its RPKI pages.
Leased IPv4 space works on both options, as long as the IRR route object and the ROA match the ASN that announces it.
Fair-share traffic: what it means
RS Computers does not bill dedicated server traffic per terabyte, and there is no monthly quota on the order. The server has a 1 Gbit/s port on a 10 Gbit/s uplink that it shares with other servers in the rack. Bursts at full port speed, such as a backup run or a busy evening on a game server, are normal.
What the uplink is not built for is one customer running close to 1 Gbit/s around the clock. A port at full speed moves about 10.8 TB a day. If your plan looks like that, such as a CDN node, a public mirror or a video origin, talk to us before you order: a flat-rate transit port in Skopje gives you unmetered capacity of your own. We would rather say this now than write "unlimited" and argue about it later.
Why Skopje for a server in the Balkans
The neoDC data centre (Neocom) at Kuzman Josifovski Pitu 15 in Skopje is a carrier-neutral facility with a Tier 3+ design, ISO 27001 and 24/7 remote hands. RS Computers (AS213900) connects to IXP.mk, North Macedonia's internet exchange, with a 100G port and an open peering policy, so traffic between your server and Macedonian networks stays in Skopje instead of travelling to Vienna and back. On 6 October 2026, PeeringDB listed 17 networks on IXP.mk.
| City | Country | Distance from Skopje |
| Prishtina | Kosovo | 77 km, about 3 ms on our network |
| Tirana | Albania | 153 km |
| Sofia | Bulgaria | 174 km |
| Thessaloniki | Greece | 197 km |
| Belgrade | Serbia | 320 km |
| Frankfurt | Germany | 1,331 km |
Fibre adds roughly 1 ms of round trip per 100 km before routing detours (M2 Optics). For a regional reference, ping.pe probes reached our Prishtina server in 18.6 ms from Vienna and 27.8 ms from Frankfurt on 6 October 2026. We have no published Skopje figures yet, so test from your own network.
How ordering works
- Press Order on Telegram above, which opens a chat with @rscomputersks with the server filled in, or write to info@rscomputers-ks.com. Tell us the operating system, whether you want BGP or BYOIP, and how you want to pay.
- We confirm stock and the details, and send the invoice.
- You pay by bank transfer or crypto (USDT); card payment is available on request.
- We set the server up by hand: the operating system you agreed with us, plus the BGP session or prefix announcement once your IRR objects and ROAs check out.
- You get the access details within 24 to 48 hours.
After that it runs month to month. Dedicated servers fall under our 99% monthly uptime SLA, which covers the network and the power feeding the server, with a 25% service credit from 95% to 98.99% and a full refund for any month below 95%. Support answers Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 on Telegram and email, with a 24/7 NOC for emergencies.
Ask us when you order
We settle these in the chat rather than guess here: how many IPv4 addresses from our space come with the server, out-of-band console access, which operating systems we install, whether you want it managed or unmanaged, hardware replacement times, DDoS filtering and the RAID layout of the two NVMe drives.
Dedicated server or VDS?
| Question | Dedicated server | VDS |
| Hardware | The whole machine is yours | A virtual machine on a shared host |
| Delivery | Set up by hand in 24 to 48 hours | Deployed automatically, usually in minutes |
| Location | Skopje; Amsterdam coming soon | Prishtina, Amsterdam and Dublin |
If your workload fits comfortably in a virtual machine, a VDS is quicker to start and cheaper to run; compare the VPS and VDS plans. Pick a dedicated server when you need the whole machine to yourself, or your own hypervisor.
